Pearsana announced in the Summer of 2024 to completion and launch of the first of its kind digital wallet. Originally designed to collect, verify and secure educational records, the Pearsana digital wallet is versatile enough to collect records of any kind.
When Pearsana began to investigate international student recruitment their college and university partners lamented the proliferation of falsified documentation in the application process. Accepting the challenge, Pearsana partnered with Amazon Web Services, Storm-Reply, and ubloquity to add a verification and authentication tool built using Distributed Ledger Technology (DLT). This new technology, when added to the Pearsana digital wallet, allows users to access, possess, and share links to official and verified documents. No longer do students need to repeatedly request and pay for their official educational transcripts when they want to apply to a school or for a job, now they can simply share documents with Pearsana partners through their digital wallet.
In sharing their vision with their educational and business partners, the response was unanimous, this would be a “game changer” in the industry, allowing students to embark on personal growth journeys more easily and more securely.
