The complex, time-consuming, and increasingly challenging nature of university admissions around the world has prompted two leading players in international education to join forces.
Which Media, an education data intelligence company and publisher of WhichSchoolAdvisor.com, EdInforma, and SchoolsCompared, has signed an agreement with Inspirus Global Education, an education technology company, to promote a suite of advanced digital solutions that simplify and secure the admissions process for both institutions and applicants.
A key element of this new offering is Pearsana, an innovative and easy-to-use digital platform with a secure student wallet, developed by Inspirus Global Education to collate, verify, and submit the documents required for university applications.
The blockchain-enabled platform is currently being used by leading universities as a trusted channel for verified application documents. Pearsana connects students to a growing network of universities and colleges across the United States, the United Kingdom, and Ireland, offering a broad range of academic pathways and opportunities.
Through these partnerships, Pearsana is actively helping schools and students in the UAE manage their university admissions more efficiently, creating trusted, seamless links between schools and higher-education destinations worldwide.
“Pearsana is transforming how schools and universities exchange verified records,” said Gareth Maguire, CEO of Inspirus Global Education. “It brings trust, speed, and simplicity to a process that has traditionally been slow, fragmented, and increasingly exposed to the risks of document fraud. The feedback from both institutions and students has been overwhelmingly positive.”
“Our collaboration with Which Media is central to this progress,” Maguire added. “Their deep relationships with schools and families give us the reach and credibility to scale Pearsana across the region and make this technology truly accessible to everyone involved in education.”
Inspirus Global Education and Which Media have introduced the Pearsana platform over the past six months to several school groups in the UAE, where Which Media is headquartered.
“Our mission remains the same today as it was when we first launched WhichSchoolAdvisor.com 13 years ago, to provide the insight and data that parents, students, and educators need to make the best possible decisions,” said David Westley, General Manager of Which Media. “We are often approached by organisations that recognise the strength of our relationships and the trust we have developed with parents, teachers, and school leaders. What made Inspirus Global Education stand out was the strength of their proposition — excellent technology, an outstanding team, and deep relationships with universities, particularly in the United States. But above all, they are fully aligned with the mission that drives Which Media.”
The two organisations will roll out the new technology to schools and school groups across the UAE, Singapore, Saudi Arabia, and the wider Middle East over the coming months.
As part of the collaboration, a consultancy service for parents and students applying to universities will also be introduced, offering practical guidance and support throughout the admissions journey.
Inspirus Global Education is an Irish education company operating across student recruitment, education services, and technology. Through its global network of universities and schools, Inspirus supports students in accessing higher-education opportunities around the world.
Its flagship digital platform, Pearsana, brings secure verification and document management to the admissions process — enabling students, schools, and universities to exchange trusted records quickly and safely. By combining expertise in both domestic and international recruitment with innovative technology, Inspirus is redefining how institutions and applicants connect in an increasingly global education landscape.
Which Media is a leading international publisher of guides, data analysis and consultancy focusing on the K12 school market. Originally founded in the United Arab Emirates in 2012 the company launched WhichSchoolAdvisor.com to help parents and students find the best school for them in, arguably, the world’s most dynamic private school market. A commitment to independence, quality and rigorous analysis quickly garnered the site a reputation as the ‘must read’ media for parents and students choosing schools.
Over the past ten years WhichSchoolAdvisor.com has extended its reach to Hong Kong, Singapore, Vietnam, Thailand, Saudi Arabia and the United Kingdom. In 2016 Which Media launched SchoolsCompared.com which developed a unique tone and campaigning style which has been warmly welcomed by the educational community. Which Media has developed Edinforma, a database of education based data, and EdStatica, soon to be relaunched as EdInforma Plus, which mines the data for school improvement and investor usage.
