Official Partnership Announcement

Educational Credential Evaluators and Pearsana, today announced a strategic partnership to fundamentally change the way internationally mobile students manage, verify, and share their academic credentials.

The partnership combines ECE's credential evaluation expertise, trusted by universities, professional licensing bodies, and institutions across the United States and Canada for more than 45 years, with Pearsana's blockchain-backed digital wallet infrastructure. Together, the two organisations enable students to store their verified ECE®  evaluation report and source documents in a single secure wallet, and share them instantly with any institution that requires formal credential evaluation.

Removing Barriers for International Students

For internationally mobile students, navigating the credential verification process can be one of the most significant practical challenges in pursuing education abroad. Having academic records formally evaluated is an essential step and one that ECE has supported students through for more than 45 years. But once that evaluation is complete, there is an opportunity to further enhance how students control, access, and share their verified records and evaluation outcomes with ease.

The ECE × Pearsana partnership changes that. Students on both platforms will be able to activate a Pearsana Wallet containing their verified ECE® report and source documents, giving them direct ownership of their credentials and the ability to share them securely and instantly with any institution that requires formal verification and evaluation. The result is a simpler, faster experience for students at every stage of their academic journey, from first application through to transfer, further study, and professional licensing.

Stacy Riley, Ed.D., President, Educational Credential Evaluators:

“For decades, ECE has focused on delivering trusted credential evaluations. Now, we’re building on that foundation by extending the value of those evaluations throughout the student journey. Through our collaboration with Pearsana, we’re combining trusted expertise with innovative technology to give students a secure, student-controlled digital environment – transforming how credentials are accessed, shared, and recognized across borders.”

Gareth Maguire, CEO, Inspirus Global Education / Pearsana:

"ECE has built something genuinely rare: the trust of universities, licensing bodies, and students across North America over 45 years. Pearsana's role is to extend the reach and utility of that trust — giving students a secure, portable home for their verified credentials from the moment their ECE evaluation is complete. Together, we're making it easier for institutions to say yes to the students who deserve it."

UAE and GCC Launch

The partnership launches first in the UAE and broader GCC region, where outbound student mobility to the United States and Canada is significant and the demand for credential  assessment well established. Pearsana has an established presence in the UAE through its partnership with Which Media, the team behind WhichSchoolAdvisor.com and SchoolsCompared.com, trusted by families across the region. ECE's evaluation authority and institutional recognition across North America makes it the natural credentialing partner for students in this market.

NAFSA 2026

Representatives from Pearsana will join ECE at their booth at the NAFSA: Association of International Educators Annual Conference in Orlando, Florida, 26–29 May 2026.
