About The Opportunity

Collectively, we are proud to announce the launch of the Belfast Summer Program 2026 — a five-week, learning-embedded international residency taking place in Belfast, Northern Ireland from July 2 – August 5, 2026.

Designed for students across all majors, the program combines professional certifications, structured leadership development, and immersive cultural experience within a supported international environment.

Institutional Partnership Model

NACU serves as an endorsing and promotional partner across its member campuses.

Program design, delivery, safeguarding, student supervision, and on-ground operations are fully managed by Inspirus Global Education, which brings over 20 years of experience coordinating U.S.–Ireland student mobility initiatives.

The Belfast Summer Program operates under a clearly defined student-funded model, with institutions able to promote participation without assuming operational or liability responsibilities.

Summer 2026 marks the first cohort of what is designed to become an ongoing global initiative within the NACU network.

  • Communication and teamwork skills
  • Leadership capability
  • Cultural awareness
  • Real-world problem-solving experience

Industry & Cultural Immersion

Throughout the 35-day residency, students will:

  • Visit Belfast-based employers
  • Engage with industry leaders
  • Participate in weekly cohort dinners
  • Join organised cultural excursions
  • Explore the Giant’s Causeway and Titanic Quarter
  • Experience Fleadh Cheoil, the world’s largest celebration of Irish music and culture

Students will reside at Stranmillis University College, Belfast, in single-occupancy accommodation with daily breakfast provided.
